Hyper thyroid TIRADS 5
Hi Doctor I had a random health check up I found Tsh 0.027 FT3 and FT4 are in range then the doctor asked to get USG ultrasound 🩺 Summary of Thyroid Ultrasound (10-Jul-2025) 📌 Key Observations - Thyroid Size & Texture:   - Both lobes and the isthmus are mildly bulky and show heterogeneous echotexture—suggests some irregularity in tissue consistency. - Suspicious Nodule:   - A hypoechoic lesion in the right lobe measuring 7 x 8 mm.   - Described as “taller than wider” with microcalcifications—both features associated with higher suspicion for malignancy.   - Classified as TIRADS 5, which indicates a high risk for thyroid cancer.   - No vascularity seen on Doppler (which may be reassuring). - Lymph Nodes:   - A few prominent but normal-looking lymph nodes were found on both sides of the neck—largest is 18 x 6.5 mm, with preserved fatty hilum and doctor asked to get FNAC I am more anxious about it please help

Hello! I understand your worry — it’s completely normal to feel anxious after seeing such a report. From your ultrasound summary, the features do suggest a higher suspicion, which is why your doctor has advised an FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology). This is the right next step — it will help clarify whether the nodule is benign or needs further treatment. The good part is that your lymph nodes look normal in structure, and your thyroid hormone levels are mostly okay except for the low TSH, which your doctor will also assess further. Please don’t stress — FNAC is a simple, quick test that will guide us properly. You are doing the right thing by checking this early. I’m here if you have any more questions or need help with reports. Take care
