Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) high
My wife is 29 years old and is NOT pregnant. She did a routeing health test in which under Thyroid profile test (method CLIA) following are her values where THS is high. Can you please suggest. She did this test first time 5 years after having child. Thyroid Profile I Tri-Iodothyronine Total (TT3) 115.01 ng/dL (70- 204/CLIA) Thyroxine - Total (TT4) 10.0 μg/dL (5.5-11.0/CLIA) Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) 6.58 μIU/mL (0.4-4.2/CLIA )

She is having subclinical hypothyroidism. It needs to be treated if she is symptomatic or if her Anti TPO antibodies are positive. May need to be treated if she plans to conceive
