Check Thyroid Function Tests (TFTs): TSH, Free T3, Free T4 are essential to assess actual thyroid function. If thyroid hormone levels are within normal range, no treatment is needed right now. Just monitor yearly. Watch for symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, dry skin, or cold intolerance. This is not a cancer, not contagious, and not an emergency. With regular monitoring, thyroid conditions are very manageable with safe oral medications.
