Thyroid problem
My wife having thyroid with TSH 3rd gen value 79.250 which seems to be high and t3 / t4 result is normal .. She already taking thyronorm 75mcg ... Would someone please advice with further treatment .. Also she is giving breastfeeding for 4months baby . Is it safe .. please guide .. Thank you

Increase the dose to 75mcg. Take it 1 hr before breakfast every day regularly.
Next Steps
Continue it for 15 days & then go for repeat TSH tests. Then see the endocrinologist with your reports.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  She definitely need to increase the dosage kf the thyronorm tablets. But i would suggest you consult a endocrinologist in person for further evaluation and management.  He will be able to help you further. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
