Thyroid meds given
I was given 130mg of thyroid meds supposedly to help with metabolism. No blood work was done previously and everything I'm reading says once started, I can't just stop taking them. I do have trouble with cold and mild depression and I am overweight, but I went to a weightloss clinic claiming to be run by a doctor with D.O. after his name, but my sister who has a diagnosis of hypothyroid had a blood test. I want to know if it is safe to take this medicine? It is true medicine but no instructions, precautions, side effects, or information at all was given to me and while I do want to be healthy and lose weight, I don't want to do it wrong.
