Before 2 months my thyroid TSH was 5.46 Dr prescribe me eltroxin 50 mg once a day now my TSH is 0.04 so Dr said take half tablet of eltroxin 50 mg...so I want to know eltroxin good for low TSH too??? Plz suggest me...

It is not that. The point is that a drastic reduction in the TSH level in two months could be a Lab error. You will take a reduced dosage for two months and get your TSH level again. That will determine the next course of treatment.

Ts h is low because the dose  that you were taking was high that is the reason the doctor has  reduced the dose

The reason for your TSH levels to drop from 5.46 to 0.04 is due to eltroxin . The dose would've been slightly higher for you , that's why doctor asked you to reduce the dose. Eltroxin is not used for low TSH levels ma'am
