Thyroid Medication and weight gain
So I've had thyroid for the past ten years, but I've stopped taking medications for the last three years because it's under control. However, I have been rapidly gaining weight since last month, so I had your thyroid tested, and TSH level is 3.42 microIU/mL. Do you think I should restart my thyroid medication? Is it necessary? Also, what are the possible causes of rapid weight gain?
