Thyroid issue
Sir, my tsh has gone from 5.54 to 6.68 when I took thyronorm 12.5 tablet once daily for three months. So since last 12 days I hv stopped taking any kind of thyroid related medicine as I did not face any problem when my tsh was 5.54 n now also not facing any problem when it has gone up to 6.68 recently...Two days ago I hv done anti TPO test, which result came as negative..My anti TPO(serum) was found to b 19.22 against d lab's negative biological reference value of less than 80...So I just want to know what does d anti tpo test result mean to me? Thanks.. Presently I m not facing any kind of problem...My age 36, weight 79kg, height 5 feet 11 inches..Bp,sugar all normal..

Anti tpo negative means there are no antibodies to harm your thyroid. So it's a good thing. Mild rise in tsh without any symptoms is called subclinical hypothyroidism, you need not to take medicine for this unless tsh goes beyond 8 or any symptoms develop.
