Thyroid Issue
I recently got tested and found that I have thyroid. Iam underweight from a very long time and unable to gain weight even if I eat a lot of food. Now, I know this thyroid can be one of my problems of not be able to gain weight. Though I think I have Hyperthyroidism because I don't gain weight and want a clear picture of what is the type of thyroid. So I would really appreciate if someone would help me with this confusion of what kind of medications should I consume and a proper diet and what kind of exercises can I do so that I can gain weight. Thank you.😊

Your thyroid tests show hypothyroidism. That doesn’t cause difficulty gaining weight, in fact it causes weight gain. You may need evaluation of other hormones to determine why you’re not gaining weight. In regard to thyroid, will need more details to decide whether you will require medicines. Please consult online
