Thyroid in pregnancy
My wife is taking thyronorm 100 as she is having thyroid, she has conceived a month back 3 days back she got her lipid profile checked and values are as follows T3    0.92 T4    9.34 TSH 1.59 Need advice does she have to increase the dose or shall keep the same Regards

Continue same. Should check TSH on monthly basis in pregnancy

Thyroid need to reasses every monthly in pregnancy.. At present report is fine.. Continue same. Follow Endocrinologist monthly.

Reports are good, Usually the dose requirement is usually higher by 25 to 30% in first trimester. Can contact your regular endocrinologist for thyroid dose adjustment or gynaecologist. TSH to monitored after 4 weeks
