Thyroid and Pregnancy
My TSH level has gone up to 10. How do I control my thyroid so I can plan my first child. I have thyroid since 2010. I recently got my tested done as I am planning to conceive. Now doctor has increased my dose from 50 mcg to 75 mcg. Please suggest how do I ensure that I am ready to conceive.

You need to wait for 6 weeks before retesting your TSH. The thyroid profile must be normal before you plan to conceive. Also during pregnancy the requirements of thyroxin go up.
