Throat swelling
I am taking levo Thyroxin 0.75 tablets for past one and half months. I am experiencing swelling on the base of the neck after taking this tablet. Also, experiencing throat blockage or feels like something lodged in my throat while eating certain food items like bread, butter etc. I have never experienced these issues in the past. Is this due to the tablet or thyroid? Is it advisable to discontinue the tablets for a while?

It is NOT due to Levothyroxine tablets. Keep taking them. It could be due to the underlying Thyroid illness. Share complete medical records.

Not due to tablet. Ideally an examination and ultrasound required. Though the ultrasound will not add much, if there is a lump it needs a biopsy. Likely hood of cancer is extremely low in a hypothyroid. Need to see blood results to make changes.
