Throat pain sence 5 months
Hi doctor, I have sore throat and burning feeling since 5 months sometimes the upper chest also hurts like burning. Now from few days fells food stuck feeling, loss if appetite too. Attaching photos. After consulting many ent specialist online with photos, acid reflux problem cameup. After taking antibiotics and antacids the issues gets solved and comes back again. After consulting a physician  & doing blood test got know B12 is 97, D3 is 18 and they are low. H1ABC is 5, ALT is 97. He didn't find any issues other than vitamin def. I have lost weight and feels low on energy in early morning. Hence started vitamin supplements for B12, D3 , B2. Thank u.

Thanks for your query.Gone through your history.Nicely narrated.but the issue already you have diagnosed with GERD or LPRD but cause of it is not being evaluated I think. Suppose anyone is having GERD/LPRD due to lax esophageal sphincter then this will persist or else if it is hiatal hernia then it will persist or etc etc so duration of treatment depends on the actual disease process and so outcome and prognosis and symptomatic relief all are  accordingly. I think you are frustrated about the issue and after so many consultations but remember there are so many chronic diseases those are being evaluated first thoroughly then being treated accordingly along with patient's understanding about the disease process make patient stay better and symptom free.I think. Finally... How do I say but even though I would suggest to consult an ENT specialist of your choice  for inclinic or online video consultation for further proceedings.Thanking you.

Need to check what medication have you taken and how long you took them . Long duration GERD issues if not controlled with medication , you should undergo one upper GI endoscopy test.We need to rule out other causes of throat irritation as well which may be  overlooked sometimes .you need to modify lifestyle as well to get rid from reflux issue.
