If they're no other associated symptoms ( difficult in swallowing, cold cough, fever , travel history, injury, spasm)only this symtom and your preoccupied with this symtom..can be due to stress. But need to find whether  other symtomatology  (to diagnose anxiety)along with these thoughts to help you better.

Any history of air travel or flu like symptoms Fever or weakness??? Cough present Stress or anxiety may cause some people to feel tightness in the throat or feel as if something is stuck in the throat. This sensation is called globus sensation and is unrelated to eating. However, there may be some underlying cause. Problems that involve the esophagus often cause swallowing problems.
