Throat pain and coughing due to food
My mother has been prescribed a custom diet by a dietitian - she has been asked to reduce 15 kgs, she is diabetic and has hypothyroidism since 10 and 7 years resp. Both r under control though with help of medication. After she started the new diet which involves taking coriander leaves soaked water first thing in the morning, fenugreek seeds powdered in a glass of warm water with carrom seed powder (ajwain). She has developed throat pain and cough since she started this. Could this be due to her thyroid problem or can she instead try other foods in the morning as substitute?

The herb n the fenugreek seed is a coolant . Some individuals develop cold because of that . Ask ur dietitian for a substitute.
