Hello, this bump near the tonsil is a normal follicle which has grown in size due to infection.
Now coming onto your present complaint of sore throat-
There are 2 possibilities here-
1. Chronic acidity and gastric problems
2. Chronic allergy in nose.

Please help me identify the condition better by providing more information keeping in mind the above 2 possibilities and also cold diet/smoking/stressful life style etc.
