Throat Infection
Hi,I am experiencing lower throat irritation(below my adam's apple) since almost 15 days.I had viral fever before 15 days,fever cough cold is gone,but throat irritation is still there at bottom of throat. I tried Cefix-O , Mucobrex-cold and panto 50 for 5 days.No relief.No problem is swallowing,but irritation or burning is there.Also I smoke 1 cigratte in a month(sometimes).

You may be having acid reflux. Take antacid for two times daily for three days

Throat irritation might persist for a few days after the infection subsides. It should get relieved spontaneously in a few days. Obviously, the occasional smoking might also contribute.
