Name- Rushil Sharma Age-21 Height- 6ft Weight- 78kgs. I have no other health issue. A few months ago, I injured myself on my right arm from a plastic part, resulting in a small cut. Initially, it healed normally—the wound developed a brown layer which eventually disappeared, leaving my skin seemingly restored. However, unlike previous injuries where my skin color returned to normal, this specific area has not regained its original color. Could this be a symptom of a larger issue such as vitiligo, or possibly a deficiency in vitamins or minerals? What should I do, I am really scared if this is vitiligo or starting of it, why I am not getting my colour back after around 2 months, it was just a small cut, please help me and explain what this is.

It's understandable to be concerned about changes in your skin color after an injury.
Few possibilities for why the skin color has not returned to normal are
1. PIH (post inflammatory hypopigmentation): the skin lightens after an injury. And it take several months to fade.
2. Scarring: minor injuries also leave scars that might be lighter or darker than your surrounding skin.
3. Vitamin/mineral deficiency: deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals, like vitamin D, Vitamin B12 or iron can affect skin healing and pigmentation.
Given that it's been 2 months and the area hasn't regained its color, seeing a dermat or consult online would be a prudent step. It's important to get a professional evaluation to rule out other conditions . The doctor might recommend topical treatments to help even out the skin tone
