Thigh pain may or may not be related to ACL. While reconstructing ACL new ligament is made out of tendons of thigh muscles. These muscles may show weakness and pain sometimes. All patients achieve full strength of thigh muscles post surgery. Your pain may be transient and should go by rest and applying some gel or spray.
Next Steps
Visit operating surgeon if it becomes recurrent

Most likely would be a muscle fatigue. Take rest ! Apply ice and if doesn’t go you must consult your surgeon .
