Hi Doctors, My wrist was injured few weeks back and pain was there. And also i was not able to twist it properly. I had done MRI now and the report suggests as attached. Kindly suggest what can be done in this case Regards Ankit

Not all TFCC. Tears need surgery. I would still recommend a conservative approach with a wrist brace for 4 weeks. If on review , there are symptoms of painful clicking, then a PRP injection can be administered. Surgery through wrist arthroscopy is if symptoms exist after at least 3 months of conservative treatment. Thanks Dr. Ramakrishna

Diagnosis : partial TFCC tear . Partial Tears can be managed conservatively . Acute injury : wear a wrist brace for 2 weeks and later you can start physiotherapy exercises . Ice fomentation will help Pain killers if pain is severe Donot lift weights Chronic injury : Start physiotherapy and hot fomentation . Donot lift weights Collagen supplements medicines will help .
