TFCC healing time
I injured/sprained my right wrist while getting out of bed. Due to mattress's softness , the hand slightly hyperextended when getting off , it then causes dull pain around the tfcc area. This happened on 23 august 2022. I have no pain when doing supination, pronation or wrist flexion. It only hurt a little on pinkie side when putting weight on it. That pain too goes away a little when hand is warmed up. As of today i.e 10th September 2022 ( 18 days after injury ) there has been improvement to it but not fully pain free. I have abstained from any physical activity which may aggravate it. I wanted to ask ideally how many weeks does it take to heal so that i can put weight on it ?

Every human body is different from each, the healing depends upon a lot of factors. Usually the TFCC heals in 1.5 to 3 months, but if the pain remains, you will have to get an MRI and might require surgery. Kindly consult on Practo to know if it is actually a TFCC injury or something else
