Tetanus vaccine can be given anywhere in the muscles. Some patients are comfortable getting injections in the hip region.

It is better to give tt shot in arm , because hip muscle being much bulkier,  injection gets distributed into the blood stream less and slowly.  Thigh is preferred only for children
Next Steps
no intervention required , next time take tetanus shot in the deltoid

Dear Patient, Thank you for your query regarding the tetanus vaccine. The tetanus vaccine can indeed be administered in the hip region, specifically in the gluteal muscle. This is a common site for intramuscular (IM) injections and is considered effective for vaccine administration. However, it is always best to ensure that the injection is administered correctly to maximize its effectiveness. If you have any concerns about the administration site or experience any unusual symptoms following the vaccination, it is important to seek medical advice. I recommend a consultation to discuss any further questions or concerns you may have about the vaccine or its administration. For further consultation, you can reach me directly on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two**. Take care
