Testosterone level
Hello Doctor. My testosterone level is 55.12ng/dl...is that normal...my doctor saying it's high and advised me to be on birth control pills. ..I have seen in biological reference it shown as 15ng to 70ng is normal...am bit confused in this regards

On higher side Better trust your doctor , the person clinically examining you is best judge It may be heading toward PCOD and contraceptive is one of the treatment. Apart from many other treatments

It is on the higher side although in the normal range... it should be correlated clinically with clinical signs and symptoms .... if you have excessive hair growth or acne then it is advisable to be on birth control pills for sometime to manage the situation
