Testicular pain/testicular lump

Asked for Male, 24 Years

7 days ago I discovered a lump on my right testicle. Since then there has been mild pain in the area. Physically I can deal with the pain but mentally this is causing me a lot of stress and anxiety. I have an appointment with an urologist however they can't see me for another 5 weeks. I don't want to make the mistake of waiting too long. Should I go to a hospital? I'm only 24 years old.
