Teratozoospermia and IUI
Hello doctors I had my semen analysis done yesterday and reports show sperm conc of 80 million and total count of 95 million. Total motility is 69%, progressive motility is 33%. However the sperm morphology is 3%. Is IUi indicated in low sperm morphology or should we go with IVF only? My wife parameters are firm but with low AMh (1.2) and AFC showed 3 follicles in each ovary. My gynec is like let's try iui but success is not guaranteed unlike IVF where they can do ICSI as well. So she gave her opinion and asked us to decide . We are so confused if iui can work in this situation or directly For IVF since it's costly process too. Please advice

It depends on the response you get while being on treatment with induction If on induction u get good follicles n endom thickness you can opt for IUI but 1/2cycles If not better ivf as AMH n afc count is less It also depends on your age n other parameters too All the best

U can try for IUI for 3 Cycles. If it doesn't work, don't wait long and opt for IVF . IVF has better chance but it's costly
