Tension headaches
In the last couple of weeks I been getting these tension headaches- earlier it used to be once in a month occurrence, but recently I started getting every week- it starts as a slight thump in the back of head especially when i do multitasking and meetings and when I have to think and discuss lots of issues back to back- it kind of triggers the headache- post afternoon it becomes bad and then sometimes it lasts till evening and goes away once I sleep and wake up next day - on an easy work day or weekends I don't get this - i m currently in the middle of a divorce and there is work stress as well, I handle multiple teams- this looks like stress related- headaches are affecting the work, any remedies or precautions. Please advise

Your symptomatology is highly suggestive of a tension type headache and good treatment options are available for it. However it is strongly advisable to undergo a detailed neurological evaluation before starting treatment since many other disorders can also present similarly for which the treatment would be completely different.
