Temperature high
My son aged about 10years is suffering from fever since yesterday and his body temperature is high. He had a headache also. We give him calpol syrup. Please kindly advice us to cure fast.

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
If not accompanied by any other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
Ensure a healthy balanced diet and plenty of fluids.
If not improving OR accompanied by above,consult your paediatrician or me here.

Dear parents,
Give your kid tab Azithromycin 250mg once a day for 5days.
Tab Wikoryl half tab thrice a day for 5days
If fever high give tab Meftagesic 250mg SOS.
Get her blood test done if fever do not subside in 48hrs.
