Telma side effect??
Its been 4 days since I have started Telmasartan 40 mg but I feel too tired and weak to do any activity since then My stomach also is little bit bloated.. My bp n pulse has been high since long but its only 1-2 months since meds started. Has my body n heart become used to high bp n not able to cope up wid normal bp and heart rate? Shall I stop bp treatment n let the body fuction at high bp or shall I give medicine more time n live wid these side effects of telma

Since you had high BP so your body got used to it, now after taking medication your BP has normally used and you will feel weakness for 2 to 3 weeks till your body gets adapt to a normal BP. Hi. High BP will affect many systems in body and cause target organ damage without much symptoms. Treatment for high bp is must to avoid complications of hypertension. If you are not comfortable with one medicine then you can take another group of medications. As you are a young hypertensive, did you evaluated the common causes for young hypertension?
