Teethy spike on wisdom teeth area
I am 22 yrs old, non smoker, non drinker. Last day while looking for cavity i discovered a small spike like a bone behind back molar, from where wisdom teeth arises. It's not painful, on pressing it hurts a little. On pressing it feels like a teeth spike is inside. It's not visible and is inside the gum. Is it my wisdom teeth? I am scared of oral cancer, please help. Attached a picture as well

Dear patient. I understand your concern. But Just the photo is not enough to diagnose. Visit a dental clinic in your city for check up. Avoid self diagnosis and self treatment. Hope this helped.

You need to physically get yourself evaluated by a dentist and get a full mouth XRAY, i.e an OPG done. Your symptoms suggest an impacted wisdom tooth. To know the exact position and space available for the same, get an OPG done so that a further treatment can be suggested, if needed.
Next Steps
Maintain your oral hygiene. Do warm saline water rinses 3-4 times daily.

Hi, Please visit a dentist and get a clinical evaluation. There is nothing to worry. Get an X-ray OPG to check the position of the wisdom tooth.
