Your gums are swollen and inflammed due to accumalation of hard deposits called tartar which won't come off by regular brushing. You need to visit a dentist and get teeth cleaning done also called scaling. Sometimes your doctor may advise deep scaling also. Mouthwash/ brushing won't help now. Removal of this tartar is important.
