Braces will definitely work for u ,may be treatment span is little more because with age bone density increases,there are some some other treatment options like,invisiligners,lingual orthodontics,consult an orthodontist for clear idea

Braces can definitely work for your age except for the fact that the treatment duration is slightly longer then what it would have been at 14 or 15 years of age because bone density increases with age. But the end result of a satisfactory smile can definitely be achieved.
Go for a proper case evaluation and arch analysis by an orthodontist so that the right treatment options in your case can be explained to you in detail before the treatment is started. You can even go for clear aligners instead of braces if you are a socially active person because they are almost inconspicuous and removable.
