Hi,
I am taking TB treatment for last 7 months. Here are the details -
First 5 months - Rcinex 600, combutol 1200 and Pyzna
Next 2 months - Rcinex 600 and combutol 1200
I wanted to know, can I stop my treatment now?
Note - I had lungs TB. Started treatment on 27th nov 2023. Got my sputum test negative. Got bronchoscopy on 3rd month and TB was negative.
Thanks.

Ideal treatment standard will cure any disease. Reason for Pyna 5mon duration may harm other organs. Anyway for PTB, can stop treatment after 6mon course with negative reports

Ideally we can stop tb treatment by 6 months. Here in your case by third month itself sputum showed negative report. So its safe to stop by now provided no symptoms are present
