Tb detected with tb gold test
Hi doc,
Two. Months back my father went for eyecheckup and doc suggested some tests and there tb gold test came positive and he has been taking tb medicines (akt4 alongwith benadon tab) from last 2 months. Today doc suggested him to complete the course for 6 months. Can someone suggest if akt4 medicine needs to be continued or there might be reduction in dosage of medicine or he can take akt4 medicine for next 4 months.
Also, tb gold test has came negative this time.
Also he is on diabetes (glycomet) and high bp med (telpil-40)
