Is it safe to use contraceptive pills to avoid pregnancy ? Do they have any side effects? Also, is it safe to have a sexual intercourse 5 days prior to the period due date? what are the chances to get pregnant in that case?

5days prior to due date of period in regular cycle will be safe periods... Emergency pills are mean for emergency and not a routine contraception and yes it comes with side effects and also have failure rates
