Taking bath during dengue
I've tested positive for Dengue and platelet count is 115000. I've very high fever from last night (102-103 degrees F). Can I take a cold shower to reduce the body temperature? I've already consulted a general physician and on medication for the same.

You may take a sponge bath. Cold bath might trigger an unnecessary cold you know.... Not always but I'd recommend sponging 2 3 times a day and take antipyretics whenever fever kicks in
Next Steps

Health Tips
be careful when fever subsides for 2 3 days that's the critical time in dengue
