Syst in the knee
I have got a syst in my left knee. Doctor told to take MRI scan because it is not clear in the basic x ray. So if the Syst really exists what shall I do. Do need to go for an operation? Please suggest.

Cysts do exists. It can be anywhere in the knee. MRI helps in planning appropriate treatment for it. Required treatment if they are symptomatic. If required surgery is done. Arthroscopic small day care procedure if at all required. So nothing to worry. All the best.
