Swollen tonsils & sore throat
I've been having a sore throat for about 3 weeks now. I was put on a 10 day prescription of amoxicillin to treat a sinus infection which did not help. Currently, both tonsils are swollen, but the right side hurts more than the left when swallowing, yawning etc. If I take ibuprofen the swelling & pain lessen, but eventually returns.

Hi You need to start the gargles of warm saline water . Avoid cold spicy food And if symptoms persist consult an ENT SPECIALIST doctor and get yourself evaluated completely and then start proper treatment accordingly. Regards
