Swollen lymph node in neck for long time
I have swollen lymph node in neck for about 5 years now. It is in left side of the neck. Sometimes it feels pointy and it hurts. Last year I did ultrasound for lymph node and it's result was normal and it suggested that lymph node is swollen. For past couple of weeks I have a little tightness in left side of my chest and back and sometimes it pains. Almost a year and half back I suffered increased heart beats and high BP issue but it became normal soon and I am off the medication. Also, the left side top of my head hurts when I touch it and sometimes even if I don't touch it.

You should not ignore a persistent lymph node swelling. A detailed examination and investigations must be done immediately to rule out various underlying diseases or medical conditions.

Good morning. Reading  your history, I would  suggest for thorough  investigation. Swollen lymphnodes could be due to many reasons .It may be due to dandruff or hair follicle infection or teeth infection or may be tuberculosis  or any other inflammatory  or non infective reasons. Even the high BP reason should be searched  . Physical examination  is also equally important. My suggestion  is to  consider for physical consultation  rather than online consultation.
