Swollen Finger issues
Hello Doctor,
Good evening!
I have observed one swelling finger i e thumb finger on right hand.
She said its paining too.
She is regular home maker only.
I am attaching pictures too, please review it.
Can you please suggest any medications for it.

Given the history and picture attached, it could be the case of acute paronychia, an inflammation of nail fold.
Next Steps
If there is no pus formation, you can try soaking finger in betadine water multiple times a day. Also you can apply tbact ointment. It may be helpful .

If pus formation is there, you take antibiotics also. Contact nearest hospital in case of increase in the size of abcess

Its a common bacterial skin infection, please get a TT shot and take antibiotics for the swelling to get better u can get a consultation from your doctor for the same
