Swollen feet
Both my feet are swollen. I am hypertensive and menopausal. I take Cilny 10 once daily. I did not have my periods since July 2023. What could be the reason?

Swelling of the feet could be due to the heart , kidneys , protein deficiency , anemia , medications like cliny 10 itself as a side effect, and dependent edema due to gravity .You need to visit a general physician in your area for a clinical examination and investigation.

Hypertension (high blood pressure) can sometimes lead to swollen feet. This condition is known as peripheral edema. When blood pressure is high, it can strain the blood vessels, causing fluid to leak into surrounding tissues and leading to swelling, particularly in the lower extremities like the feet and ankles. It may be due to drug side-effects
