Swelling & pain due to eye strain
I have been suffering with swelling on my upper left eye lid and extreme pain which I am quite sure is because of spending really long hours working on laptop. It has been 2 days now. Please suggest some remedy.

Hello
Your symptoms are suggestive of lid infection most likely due to external hordeolum
Try
A. Warm compresses
B. Apply antibiotic ointment locally over lid margins
C. Take systemic antibiotic like ciprofloxacin twice daily for 5 minute
This painful lid swelling may not be due to computer use
This is provisional diagnosis
Kindly share photos of your eye so that I may guide further treatment
