Swelling on the feet (fluid rentention?)
I am 89 years old, have consistent leg swelling everyday. Somedays it is light and somedays it becomes big swelling to the extent that i cannot wear sandals. what could be the reason and what medicines should i take

At the age 89, we have to look out for BP, DIABETES, BLOOD COUNT,HAEMOGLOBIN, SERUM ELECTROLYTE, SERUM CREATININE. Please do 2D echo to know haemodynamics of heart. Also look out for is there is any pain in legs, to rule out blockage in leg blood vessels.
