Swelling on side if Knee after Sport
I am a football player. Since last 3-4 months the surrounding part of knee swells especially on the rightmost side after playing a 90 mins game. I took rest for some time and the pain goes away completely. But when I start playing regularly it comes back again. Recently I am diagnosed with B12 deficiency in a routine checkup and started a 2 months course of tablets on doctors advise. B12 level is 96. My question is can this knee pain be related to B12 deficiency? And how to expedite the healing process ?

Hello, greetings from Kolkata. What you are describing is typical of pain due to damage of some internal structures of knee like meniscus or cartilage. If there is some feeling of giving away associated with this swelling then it might be due to some ligament injuries as well. B12 deficiency has no role in this type of knee swelling.
Next Steps
Kindly get yourself evaluated by a sports surgeon or orthopaedic surgeon.
Health Tips
Don't stress your knee too much before you have got a proper diagnosis.

B12 deficiëncy does not cause activity related swellings rhag too in one joint. Since you are an active sports enthusiast it could be a knee related disease which needs to be evaluated further.
Next Steps
An ortho online or offline consult and imaging.
