  4. Swelling on back of head. Suggest.

Swelling on back of head
Hi, My son fell down and had head injury with swelling on back of head. He is not allowing us to touch in the swelling part. He is 1yr and 3months old. What precautions to be taken. Could anyone please suggest.

Like the answers? Consult privately with the doctor of your choice

Please get him examined by Paediatric Surgeon to rule out internal injury or fracture. He may require treatment for the swelling also. Local ice compresses for the first day is the onrushing you should be doing at home. Head injuries in children are best managed only by experts.
