  4. Swelling on back head from a fall. Out?

Swelling on back head from a fall
My son fell from a stool and bumped his head. There is a swelling on the back side which is painful upon touch. Ice pack has brought the swelling down a bit but not much. He is active and is normal after the incident. Do I have to get him checked out?
