Check whether you have any cavity related to that teeth....if yes defenitely it should be treated in dental chair only.... It should be filled after swelling subcided .... If there is no cavity, it may be due to gum infection ... It can be treated by cleaning gums after medicines ....
Next Steps
Take proper antibiotics and analgesics anti inflammatory drugs
There is definitely an infection which can temporarily be relieved with medicine. But before prescribing any meds we needs to confirm the type of infection and also any known drug allergies. Also check for the lymph nodes swelling. Do you have any cavity on that tooth or food lodgement??
Next Steps
Please share the photos of the affected tooth and face
If it has swelling.. The infection has reached to roots and antibiotics will be needed along with pain killers.. Definitive treatment will be RCT if the tooth is savable.. But we cananage it with medicines by the time pandemic becomes less aggressive..
Next Steps
can go for online consultation.
Health Tips
do not apply Vick's, iodex, balm or anything hot over it, cold application such as ice on the affected side of faces reduce swelling
Hello dear
Please be calm
See if can be either an abscess or sinus.it needs to be drained.i suggest you to please share pic and drug allergy history for immediate relief
Thanks
