Surely you must have been seen by many doctors in the last 7 years. Thyroid per se doesn't cause the swelling of the whole body after travelling. The cause may be in the kidney or heart or even Diabetes. Please get your Complete Health Package done from a reputed Laboratory and consult a General Physician with the report. The package should include HbA1C, TSH, Vitamin D 3, B12, Coagulation profile in addition to other tests.
