I had a pain in my broken Premolar a couple of days ago, followed by swelling on the right cheek.
I was given paracetamol and Amoxycilin and was advised for tooth extraction.
The pain went away instantly but I am still having swollen cheek.
Also I had covid a month ago, As one side swelling is also a symptom of black fungus, so I am concerned. I am not diabetic and was not given any steroids.
As of now I don't have any pain, just swelling.
Attaching pictures of xray and swelling.
Is this an abscess or something serious?

Don't panic. It is dental abscess. Start with the medication if you don't have any medical issues

Avoid hot water gargle, instead give ice packs .
In these three days , please go for Extraction.
The problems will subside once the fractured tooth is extracted ( removal).
The swelling will reduce slowly.
