Supurative tonsillitis - high fever
MY son has been diagnosed with suppurativr tonsillitis.
And is on medications as follows -
Augmenting DDS
Ibugesic plus
Viscodime
The antibiotic course is complemented now. But fever is under control till the ibugesic plus works. And then it agin shoots to 104-105 range. It's his 5th day of fever today. Weight - 12 kgs age -3.5 years

If fever is still not settled in spite of antibiotics, or he is dull and tired, he may need further investigations including blood and urine tests.

How many days antibiotic is given. It should be given for atleast 7-10 days. You can give syp Meftal P for high grade fever.
