I was feeling pain in my left hand from 2 months while doing household chores like chapati making
or raising my hand above the shoulder level.So i consultant with doctor he told me its supraspintinous tendonitis and suggest me few exccercise and iceing 3 -4 times in a day..iam doing same thing as suggested but getting no relief even my right hand also started paining and it's very irritable.. Plz suggest me will it be fully curable with iceing and exc Or i need to do something else.. Plz tell how much time will it take to cure completely or I need to do any surgery for this..

Was the diagnosis clinical or MRI was done? Please share the reports if you have. Any other illness like Diabetes, High BP, etc? Did it start spontaneously or any injury or weight lifting? MRI can give better idea as to what should be done next. Kindly Consult for detailed resolution

You will require an intra articular injection to help with the pain so that you can do the physio. Prior to that, getting an MRI is advisable as that may give us an idea as to how bad the tear or damage is. Depending on that the injection is given or surgery is advised if the damage is too much or if there is a tear both of which might lead to stiffness in the joint
